“The street of the PAST, leads to the house of NOW” Spanish
Proverb
“I’m proud to welcome you to Wizard Solutions – a dynamic learning environment of action and energy. I’m passionate about helping people conquer their challenges. The past has stimulating and exciting lessons for us – it links us to themes, ideas and future directions. Our actions today will impact on the future and we need to consider what “today” has
to offer us, in a positive and stimulating way”
Bryan Webb – Creative Director, Learning & Development
As founder of Wizard Solutions, Bryan has spent
over sixteen years creating a business capable of helping individuals
and organisations achieve goals, manage change and above all – make
a difference to today, for tomorrow. A varied and exciting client portfolio
ranges from Virgin and MTV through to the NHS, as well as smaller not-for-profit
organisations and charities – a quick glance at the impressive
client A – Z on the Wizard Solutions website tells a story in itself.
Coaching and Personal Development Techniques are the tools of empowerment
and change for Bryan. Having held senior management positions in organisations
such as CBS and the UB Group in the 1980s and 90s, Bryan’s business
experience holds a wealth of resource and practical application. Bryan
has won a reputation as a highly desired business consultant with an
eye for innovation, motivation and opportunity. His other interests can
be viewed through a wide angle lens! As an author (“Britain in
1940” with Louise Callow and Richard Holmes in 1999), creative
historical advisor to both film and television productions and a specialist
vintage jazz DJ, Bryan’s talents and personal interests are stimulating
and inspirational. His interest and knowledge in the social history,
design and ‘change factors’ of the early twentieth century
(1900 – 1950) are often called upon in public speaking engagements,
lectures and consultancy projects. This broad spectrum of experience
has contributed to his ability to work on business projects requiring
high impact PR and communication skills as well as those needing a strong
design reference.
Design is critical to the success of Wizard Solutions. Allen
Lane, the founder of Penguin Books stated, “good design costs
no more than bad design”. These very reference points have shaped Bryan’s
approach to business, his personality and subsequently, his career. Even
his choice of motorcar comes top of his design desire list – it’s
a lipstick red 1948 Plymouth coupe, all curves, victory chrome and a straight
six engine growl. Bryan weaves the threads of his success together to create
an inspirational vision for Wizard Solutions and his clients – his
influences and successes of the past twenty-five years have proved that ‘winning’ is
related to planned activity. Bryan explained his views on a recent BBC
radio interview – “By reflecting, understanding
and learning from the past, we are able to see the future clearly and with
greater understanding. By the clear vision of looking forward with this
knowledge, we can bring the future into the present [PLAN] and act upon
it now with a positive and optimistic outlook”
